As soon as this guy walked away I'm sure they already had 10 different buyers lined up! If anyone else is gonna say no to a cg hybrid let me know so I can take it!

Feel bad for the dude, surprised at the ford credit being $9k down, $350/mo, 15% apr. That really seems like the dealer lying about what it actually is, or his credit rating/income isn't as good as he says it is.

I was offered the 0% for 3 years with a $0 down even though I have less than 2 years of credit and a recent sharp drop due to other hard inquiries, and a bad employment history to boot haha.

I'd be destroyed if I had that happen to me, absolutely fell in love with this truck.

Either this dealer in particular is defrauding people by misrepresenting their loans (Either by offering their own poor loans and claiming its Ford, or just lying about the Ford rate to scare people off), or this guys has abysmal credit.

I'm curious where he was getting information about loans and "20k down payments" from too. I haven't seen much about either of those.

Dude shouldn’t even be discussing monthly payment numbers, instead should know ahead of time what their credit situation is and should have that known in advance of the dealership offering alternatives.

When I bought in December, I knew exactly what my numbers would be before ever stepping in the showroom to finalize the deal, and I also duplicated every amount in my own spreadsheet to validate the numbers supplied by the dealer.

Agree 100%.

Ford even has a calculator that will show the monthly payment based on the Maverick costs in total minus the down payment then the interest percent and term in months.

I knew with my credit rating in the 800's I would qualify for the Ford Credit 0% for 36 months. I put down $8,000 on the $26,000 and I have 36 monthly payments of $500.

Yep I agree that guy should know how to figure out a payment the price is what it is and NO you don’t have to finance through Ford so it’s not Ford’s fault either yes they show best case 0% or 1.9%, etc… but again anyone knows that it takes good credit rating to secure lowest percentage and again anywhere can finance the vehicle or buy with credit cards 🤔 I think he should have done more research just like he says in the beginning of the video before making a video blaming ford…

I don't feel bad for the guy at all and I'm sure his credit situation wasn't as good as he's claiming it to be. If you're going to finance a vehicle setup your own financing and walk in there with a check. Credit unions offer some amazing financing deals. If you walk into the dealer with a check and a great finance rate the chances are very high that the dealer's financing team will be able to actually beat those numbers, it's just important for you to read the fine print of any contract you sign to be sure there's no funny business going on.
