I ordered an XL Hybrid with moon roof on 11/11/21. It has been at priority 10 the entire time. I just chatted with Ford and they said it is now a priority 01. So looks like they are looking at November orders.

It is interesting when you call they say they can't see the priority code but with Chat they can. I haven't used the chat function but will have to give it a try

Yeah I've been using the chat function all along and always ask for the priority code and they have always provided it to me. I check ever couple of weeks, my dealer submitted it as a 10 and it has remained at a 10 until I chatted them today. I don't want to get my hopes up but seems like some progress.

My desktop wouldn't do it but it worked on my phone. Still a 10 no movement for me. Hope you get a VIN soon

I've never heard of priority 1 before.
This is what I find on various other ford forums about a priority 01, not sure how accurate it is.

Priority code 1 means it is getting ready to be scheduled and issued a VIN & projected build date.

Do you have any constrained items? I did not have any.

A couple of weeks ago, I read a post in this forum, where someone said that when they called customer service, they were able to get the priority code and that COVP/ROVP was in the system for their build. I called and was able to only get the priority code and the person was not able to confirm whether COVP/ROVP was in the system. He said I had to call my dealer for the the status of COVP/ROVP.

It seems like the amount of information you can get regarding your build depends who you speak with. I think the same goes for the person you chat with.

A couple of weeks ago, I read a post in this forum, where someone said that when they called customer service, they were able to get the priority code and that COVP/ROVP was in the system for their build. That is good news. I have a XLT hybrid order I placed on Nov. 12. Good luck to you in getting a VIN soon! Last time I checked, my build was still at priority 19.

In a modern world consumers would be able to authenticate to a portal to see order/vehicle status any time. I guess paying support people or punting to dealer is still cheaper.

I JUST GOOGLED FORD CHAT AND VERIFIED ORDER STATUS AND PRIORITY CODE FOR MY MAVERICK - I ORDERED JANUARY 19 - XL STRIPPO - I MOVED FROM PRIORITY 19 TO 10 SO MAYBE A FEW MORE MONTHS .... CHAT WAS MUCH LESS PAINLESS THAN CALLING IN - AND FASTER -HOPE THAT HELPS
