Over the weekend I added the Rough Country soft tri-fold tonneau, the Mabbett bed mat and the Dee Zee tailgate assist. I haven’t checked for water leaks but expect some. The Mabbett bed mat fits great and should be very durable. It’s pretty thick and has a nice texture to help keep things from sliding. I will have to cut out for the d-rings though.

Yes, it does. Undecided what to do about that- cut hemisphere around hooks or punch holes in the mat and mount on top of mat. Would be interested what others are doing.

Yes it has indentations where they are. I will most likely just cut out slots in the mat later. It’s not a huge deal but it will be necessary to use those.

I have the BedRug impact mat and that's the route they went, horizontal slot for the d-rings near the cab. Overall working well, would recommend doing a 3/8" hole on each end of the slot where the D-ring touches the mat otherwise it buldges even after you tuck the d-ring back under.

Looks good! IMO people focus too much on getting their tonneau absolutely waterproof. And you can with some effort, but the 80% solution is sometimes much more convenient and do-able. Mine has some minor drips from the car wash (which is basically a giant, automated pressure washer) but since I don't keep anything in the bed that can't get wet it's never a real world problem.

One thing I can add is this bed mat is not knee friendly like I’ve heard the Bedrug is. I thought it might have a little give to it but nope lol.

Thanks, I’m not going to sweat it. I will tighten the clamps in about a week if they need it but that’s probably it. The mat fita good but I think whatever water gets in will go under or around it so no biggie.

I cranked the clamps down extra tight the last time I took off my tonneau and the leaking was almost entirely controlled. A few drops here and there. If I wanted to go nuts with weatherstripping I could easily get it 100% but I just dont care that much.😂

One thing you might want to consider is getting rhinoliner done. I am VERY impressed with the finish and durability on mine. There has been all kinds of stuff sliding around back there and it still looks brand new once I hose it off. Of all the aftermarket additions that has been the best one.
