I'm missing something here, the doors on my Maverick shut with very little force or pressure, I literally push them shut with 1-2 fingers, and the fully close and latch, without having to use excess force, or slam them. They just swing closed and latch as expected.
The one exception is the tailgate, which with the rubber stripping added, and tonneau in the closed position & latch, takes some force to shut completely. - Without the stripping or the clover down and latched, it closes with less force, not having all the rubber gasket around it.
I'd half like the doors to be a bit heavier, and just maybe come spring I'll pull the panels off and apply some additional sound insulation to the lower doors, but so far no real need, as its fairly quiet as is, even at highway speeds. - Full disclosure mine is a Lariat Hybrid, and that sound-shield windshield cuts down on wind noise quite a bit.
