So I typically never buy new cars, but actually really liked this process...

Ok, so I know that it really sucks that a lot of orders are taking forever. I'm not really talking about having to wait on the vehicle, I'm talking about everything minus the wait, that's the one down-side. But what I'm talking about is actually ORDERING a new vehicle and not buying a new one off the lot. Like everyone tells you that the moment you drive a new car off the lot you've already lost thousands of dollars. And that's totally true.

It definitely makes more financial sense to buy a used car, and if you want something that's "basically new" you can get a turned in lease vehicle, they are usually only a year or 2 old and are in great condition and will cost you thousands less for practically the same thing (I know Mavericks are too new for this, but I'm talking in general...).

But my experience getting the Ford Maverick is a bit different since not only was it my first new car, but also first time where I got to pick the color and every option I wanted to have. Rather than searching around and hoping to find something similar to what I want, I got to choose every option. It just felt really personalized, because it was. And I think that's really cool.

Like everytime I go outside and look at my truck, I think to myself, "damn, MY truck looks good, I made good choices." Like with both of my previous vehicles, I had to settle with colors that were not my first choices. This time it was, and I feel like I made the correct choice for color (Carbonized Gray) since it matches the wheels perfectly.

But anyway, I've rambled on enough. Just wanted to share my thoughts on my experience ordering a vehicle to be built just for me...

Congratulations. I've never ordered a new vehicle before. I lucked into mine from a canceled order. You will love it!

Congratulations on your new Maverick!

Not to offend (too) ...... please

Breaking up story into smaller paragraphs makes for easier reading.

Congratulations on your new ride!

There's something intrinsically ironic and amusing about the offset license plate frame announcing Midway. :D

The maverick is my first new car ive boughten as well first hand me down and the second was used fusion so i liked the experince of picking everything out pricing it out etc. The place i got it was really good to me. Made it very simply and did NOT go over MSRP. Out the door it was 23.5k for it.
