Anyone ever use a Snowsport or equivalent "home owner" snow plow?
I cannot shovel anymore the back won't allow it. I can't manhandle a snowblower anymore either. My plow guy only comes out over three inches. This little plow hooked to the rear receiver could be ideal. With XL AWD tow package I think the truck should handle an inch or 2 no problem. Thoughts experience?

Im not sure about that system but my do you have a riding lawnmower or room to store one? My brother has a fairly big driveway and has plowed his with his mower for 20 years. You can find a decent one on craigslist for less than $500 im sure then another $500 for a plow attachment. Slap some chains on the tires and then you wont have to worring about backing your Maverick into something.

Thanks but I all ready ruled that out. 30 and 40 yr old garden tractors in my area are going for 1k no attachments. Lawn tractors won't push snow. Try finding attachments that old. By the time I'm done cobbling a tractor together I'm over the 1,300 asking price for the plow and I'm out in the weather. Still an option if the plow isn't worth getting.

My brother has successfully pushed snow with his Craftman lt for a a long time. Especially if you are only talking under 3". Just be careful and dont tear up your Maverick, everyone with body damage is waiting months and months for parts.

Never knew such a thing existed. That’s pretty cool.
Wonder how it would do with the heavy wet stuff at the end of the driveway, the town plow leaves?

Stick with the guy who plows when there is 3 inches, any vehicle with good tires can drive through 3 inches or less of snow, unless you have a VERY steep incline.

I'm not looking to replace him I need something to move the 1 to 3 inches, as I said I am no longer physically able to move it myself.

It's all wet heavy crap here. :D
I love when we get the light fluffy stuff but that's rare. I think I would move the stuff left by the town in sections and soon after he goes by. I don't think this will move it when it hardens.

way late to the conversation, but I have found a good (Stihl) leaf blower does really well on an inch or two of snow, I don't have a snow shovel anymore.

I did that when I was healthy on a dusting and blew 3/4" gravel from my old driveway. When I heard the stones pinging off my neighbors wheels I shut it down real quick. Lol
I can't swing a leaf blower nowadays. Thanks for the thought though.
