Simple Bed Partition

Those bed indentations can be useful, had a 2 by 10 laying around, cut it to 54 inches, painted it, it slides right in. Useful for keeping smaller things you pick up from sliding around and easy to remove for something big, 6 bucks for a can of spray paint.

I have this exact thing in my current old school Ranger, it's such a simple, ideal solution, keeps groceries or whatever from sliding all over the place, keeps everything in easy reach when time to unload. One thing I did to mine was add two simple, black hardware store handles on top, makes it easier to pull it out of the slots when I need to. They were less than a buck apiece.

I added some felt tape on the ends to keep it from moving and rubbing a hole in the liner over time

I just use a 2 x 10, cut to 54”. Makes a perfect place for my golf clubs.

Is the bed mat OEM?

In my F-150, I always used the rubber bed mat to hold shopping bags in place. I just lifted up the end of the mat, put the bags against the (closed) tailgate and lowered the mat.

Sorry to necro this thread, but just wanted to come back and say I like the hinge design (planning to implement it myself inevitably) and I'm more surprised there aren't any publicly available divider kits that can neatly fold into the bed or cab.
