Should You Wax PPF?

This is the first vehicle I ever had with (partial) PPF. Can (or should) you apply wax to it? I know that paste wax would leave an unsightly white edge, but what about a spray wax?

I've been using synthetic for years now. Does not leave a white line.

There is a special wax for PPF. Its actually made by Expel.

You can put Car Guys on everything....glass, plastic, chrome and it won't leave a white film on it. I just bought my 2024 Maverick Tremor and traded in my 5 year old 2019 Ranger that never saw any wax, just car guys. Just spray on everything. The Ranger look as good as the day I bought it.
