2023 Hybrid, 71,000 miles. The message came up about 2 months ago. Couldn’t shift into any gear. Next day, it was fine. Got the error code again. Took it to the dealer on a Wednesday and was told they had to order a part and I could pick it up Friday. Crickets, so I called Friday afternoon and was told it’d be done early next week. Called Tuesday and was told they had to remove the transmission. Got the truck back a week later. Today, error code is back and the truck won’t move. Ford “fixed” it last time under warranty, but they also had to replace the hybrid battery after about 60,000 miles. I hate dealing with the dealership! I’m 52 and this is the 1st new vehicle I’ve ever purchased, and the Last Ford I will ever purchase. I’ve had Japanese cars with 2x the mileage and little to no major problems. I wish Toyota, Honda, or Subaru would make a small hybrid truck.

Man, that is a nightmare, I’d be beyond upset too. But for the sake of the thread—did they ever actually tell you what codes are throwing, or what they keep 'replacing' each time? For your eCVT Transmission?

If you're going to push for a buyback or lemon law, you need that diagnostic data in writing. If they’re just clearing codes and sending you home, they’re just kicking the can down the road. What was on the last service invoice?
