Seatbelt Question

I’ve been trying to repair seatbelt because of the “restraint indicator lamp” warning.… So I unplugged the electrical harness to my drivers seatbelt and have two pins. Tested for continuity. I was going to check a known good one in the passenger seat and found it had five pins and a small extra module on the buckle.

Anyone know what that module is?

I had a similar error message that ended up being a replacement of the LH rear seatbelt assy due to a bad sensor under warranty. @ trips to the dealer and 2 days, but they got it fixed.
