Very good chance whatever you signed had a clause for arbitration. It just take a couple sentences. It’s not an entire separate legal contract.

Nope. Iowa law doesn't mandate arbitration clauses in motor vehicle purchase agreements, but they can be included. I read mine word for word, and it did not have one. Out of curiosity, I read the purchase agreement for our 2021 Toyota Avalon, and it is identical (no mention of arbitration). Iowa may be lacking in entertainment, but we have no shortage of integrity and trust, so maybe less of a need to slip in the arbitration clause.

Had I had knowledge that Granger didn't have one (assuming that it doesn't), and that this dealer did, I wouldn't have accepted it as a matching offer. I'm in Ohio often enough for grandkids that I'd just fly into Des Moines instead.
