I'm sorry if this has been posted but I could not find it. Does your sales number indicate your place in line for your truck? If so I'm 3 months out since I'm about 21000.

The ordering process is not a "first in, first out" process. There are a lot of factors that play into it such as dealer allocations, commodity constraints, etc. Here is a detailed explanation of the ordering process. Needless to say, your place in line doesn't matter...

I just wanted a general idea where I was in line. I know that options will affect my place and the fact that eco's are shipping already.

Not sure you can get that info =/ We don't know how many orders there are outstanding.

There really is no general idea to provide. Lots of folks from June still haven't heard a peep, other folks that just ordered a cpl months ago are starting to take delivery.

Even once you get picked to get built, sometimes that process takes 2 days, sometimes it takes north of a month or more.

Your only answer is "one of these days...."

If it was an Eco I could probably bet with favorable odds that it'd be scheduled tomorrow. But since you ordered a hybrid, even a minimally optioned XL, who knows.

There is no way to second guess your place in line although highly likely the day, hour, minute, second, sequential position of all orders placed within that second is recorded. This would allow computer to assign parts in inventory to your particular truck by your sequential order position. (Yes I was a mainframe programmer in 1970's I preferred assembler coding over cobol due to speed of processing and easier to set up complex comparisons.). Think of your order as a spreadsheet of multiple lines of enough columns to provide a yes/no answer of all options. When your order is placed one line is filled with "your" yes/no conditions can then be compared to another line containing yesses you are allowed to have. Note this structure would allow changes to allowed builds based on time of your original order to be compared to which line in the spreadsheet is effective for the time of your order. You can change allowable builds starting at a certain time by adding a line with effective start time. ,Etc etc etc.
Bottom line when all yes in your order have yes in reserved for your order your order is ok to build and can then be selected based on other criteria. Think "we need nnnn to fill a unit train" for destination #3, or NN to fill a truck, or whatever is the best shipping group of ready builds. So where will your order be?

Unfortunately nobody can really know. It sounds like the order # you referenced is just the 5 digit number from your truck's build sheet? If yes, this is a dealer set number, and has no bearing on where you are at in terms of your actual build with Ford (my order number was alpha numeric - again because it is simply how the dealer sets their own order system).

If you update your signature with additional details (see mine and others in this thread) - order date, build details - including engine/factory options/accessories - we can at best tell you if you'll be scheduled within a month or two, or Spring at this point. Best anyone can offer until you are assigned your VIN and build week (which if you've read other posts on the forum aren't set in stone either).
