I just went to Tasca Ford Parts Rhode Island and found this:

It appears they drop the initial A so the part reads -B instead of -AB

It also says Part Number:NZ6Z-99112A15-B Replaces:NZ6Z-99112A15-A. So wonder if this is the new standard mat they will be selling.

I am the buddy of the OP and after we discovered this I contacted my local dealership and they were not aware of two different mats either. They ordered the other one for me yesterday and I just got the call that it’s there and ready for pick up. Even the parts guys are still learning a thing or two.

What probably happened was Ford cleared out stock of the old mat and from here on out they will just be selling the new version.

A helpful tip.....
If your looking for the OEM Rubber truck mat there appears to be two different part numbers. My Buddy bought part number NZ6J-19D502-AA , AND I bought part number NZ6J-19D502-AB. Both work in the Maverick but Yesterday after moving them between an XLT with spray in and XLT without Spray in liners we discovered something. The (AA) is too tight, too wide for spray in and doesn't have precut loops in the front for bed tie downs found in the XLT and lariat. The (AB) fits nicely in both configurations and yes with spray in without trimming. The (AA) in our opinion is for the XL model that doesn't have the tie down loops in the front. We hope that this information is helpful.....

I have XLT Hybrid With factory spray liner. Fits perfectly and has forward cutouts. I see dealers are now showing same mat replaced by: NZ6Z-99112A15-B.

Who knows what the real deal is, all I know is mine doesn’t fit and doesn’t have the front cut outs

When I ordered mine from the dealer I ordered the one with cutouts early as they were rumored to be on back order, but 2 days later it was in & it was the one without cutouts, I didn't know that until I got it home & unpackaged it, I just used a 3-1/2" holesaw & made my own.
