Just put. The 2 inch suspension lift on The maverick not exactly what I wanted to buy it was 600 .00 I haven’t heard good things but we’ll see took me a half a day to install by my self. Figure it would prob be easier and faster with help but. I got it done
Bought a brand new Kobalt torque wrench it snapped the first bolt I tried to torque down. Now just have to have my tires installed. I got 245/65/17 I initially wanted 245 /70/17 but. From what I’ve read 65s we’re the way to go. Will up date as I add more to her Gonna wash it and try this new detail and ceramic stuff I got. Nexgen ? Has any one used it before. ?

I have about 12k with my rough country 2" lift. Ibam not disappointed in the slightest. Do retorqe everything in about 1k. I recently did a 2500 mile road trip with mine, and I think the ride quality is almost factory. I also maintained 27mpgs with 265s, and normal luggage, etc.

That’s what I’m hoping for I want the look but I’d also like to keep my mpgs It. Doesn’t seem to change the. Ride quality that I’ve noticed I will say tho the trailing arm did give me a fuss on the pass rear and the directions rc sent where very crappy if I didn’t know much about cars or if I didn’t know the basics I wouldn’t have been able to do the rear myself cause I’ve never installed a lift I’ve done all my own. Car work myself my whole life so it came pretty easily to me

The key for tires (imo) is the weight. I found some RWL 265 ATs that weighed 40# each, which is significantly higher than the OE but I put 40# as my threshold and so far I am quite pleased.

Nice !!! Love the rims. That’s what I am aiming to do next. I did notice while moving my new tires around when they came they are heavy ! I will have to google and see how much the ones I got weigh I didnt even think about the tire weight just the size ! Thanks for the info

Get the 4 wheel alignment done if you haven’t already
YES, get an alignment ASAP. I drove mine 1 fay before getting the alignment done, just to see how it acted. It was super loose, almost like I was driving on ice. I was also still on the mostly worn out factory tires.

Yep. Getting my new tires and a alignment tomorrow
Still driving on the factory tires atm adding my 245/65s tomorrow it doesn’t act like the alignment got messed up but I still wanna get it done

yeah same. Did ur factory tires have. Grooves in the side wall ? As if the belt is seperating ? All of mine do inside and out some have 2 some have 4 another reason I got new ones

totally normal for some tires, including the factory continentals.

The side walls might have had a few belt grooves but not much worse than normal. Also, you might want to consider a 255/65. A little bigger but you should be able to save some weight over the 245/75s

So took my truck to have the wheels put on and a alignment. Done they called. Earlier and told me they needed to. Add bigger camber bolts ??

eibach makes some for the maverick front. a camber bolt has an eccentric lobe on it so that you can turn the bolt and increase or decrease camber. https://www.steeda.com/eibach-5-81315k-maverick-pro-alignment-front-camber-bolt

since you lifted I would guess you have decreased negative camber.

if your rear camber is out of spec I don't think the camber bolt would be useful.

Yeah the way he tried to explain it didn’t make much sense I told him do what they needed. I just didn’t know if any one else. That’s out there own lift. On had encountered this issue
