I have the Yakima towers with the clamps on my Maverick. I still use the round bars instead of the newer aero bars. The towers work with both styles of bar.
Let me know if you need any details.

Thanks again for info, found a workaround for the round bars since you cannot use the Yakima Eyebolts I wanted to lock down my ladders etc on the crossbar. I repurposed the plastic Snaparounds from my vintage Yakima Basketcase with some washers and eyebolts from Homey Depo and looks to work fine to do the job.Two (2) 58-inch RoundBar (SKU: #8000409)
One (1) BaseLine Towers (Set of Four) (SKU: #8000162)
Two (2) BaseClip 180 (B85-5) (SKU: #8006180)
One (1) RoundBar SL Adapater (SKU: #8003536)
The BaseLine Towers rest on the roof.
The bars stick out less than 3 inches on either side. The 48-inch bars are not long enough.Been trying to attach images to the post I just made, tried 3 times and waited 40 minutes to load and didn't happen, any help or info would be appreciated.
Thanks just picked up a 72" bar I am going to cut down. The bars stick out less than 3 inches on either side. The 48-inch bars are not long enough.
Front to back seems to be a problem as there is no mounting system, not sure why they dont offer them as a pre-installed option like on my van, I hate the clip on side to side but may end up w that as I dont think I am drilling into the roof.I already have numerous fishing rod tubes, typically 7’-6” long and 8” in diameter. I’m looking for glue on roof rails (front to back, NOT crossbars) that I could use bungee cords to attach the tubes. I did this on my Explorers for years. Are there any companies that sell Maverick roof rails??
