I just got my 2025 Maverick and have had a Roll n Lock cover here waiting for the last 2 weeks before the truck arrived. I went to install it today, and things seemed to be going smoothly and fairly self explanatory. I had to slide the cannister unit back a slight amount as the directions showed in order to get the bed rails to contact the tailgate when closed (see yellow sticker on inside of bedrail in 1st image). I tightened up the bed clamps and attempted to operate the unit. I noticed that it was tough to pull the cover back, but figured that will work itself out. I dropped the tailgate and attempted to close it, and I had to slam it shut. I didn't realize this was because the bed rail attachments in the back dropped down when I dropped the tailgate. It as if they are unsupported inside the bed. I called tech service, and they advised that I would have to put a shim under the back of the bedrail until I got a 1/8" gap over the tailgate. The tailgate looked like it had a gap, until I opened it and tried to close it again. So, I loosened the bed clamps, and stuffed shims under both sides at the end of the bed. This seemed to raise it enough that I could now open and close the tailgate under it. I thought the issue was fixed until I tried to operate the cover again. Now, it wouldn't latch unless I slammed it back against the tailgate. Also, when I drop the tailgate while the cover is in the rear position, it now puts enough weight on the bedrail that it drops again to where I can't close the tailgate. If I put any higher shim under it, the weatherseal will no longer contact the bed on the outer side of the bedrail. It is like the bedrail isn't rigid enough or supported on the inside. I can easily rock it up and down by hand, regardless of how loose or tight the bed clamps are. Has anyone else had issues installing like this? I hate to return it, but I just can't seem to get it to fit.

I have the EXACT same problem Roll-N-Lock A series 2024 Maverick and the liner droops by the tailgate and it also appears that I cannot get the full 49 1/4 inches spread so the cover tends to bind a bit also. Were you able to fix the problem or did you return it. I have a call in to customer support and waiting on reply. Please help as I only have 3 more weeks of free returns...Thanks in Advance.

I ended up returning it. It was not fun to try to pack back up into it's box.
