RK Sport Hood Pre-Sale

The ball is in our court now. They will build us a hood if 40 people commit. Design is not final yet as they will build what WE agree on. I proposed a 3 inch cowl hood with vents. A Ram air hood is pointless on our truck imho. But again, by us initiating this we get a say in what they build. Details are as follows:

UNPAINTED FIBERGLASS
$1275 shipped

CF BLISTER (ONLY HOOD SCOOP IS CF, THE REST NEEDS TO BE PAINTED)
$1674 shipped

FULL CARBON FIBER TOP WITH FIBERGLASS REINFORCEMENT
$2274 shipped

After initial 40, retail will be appx $300 more per hood.

Deposit of $300 paid directly to RK Sport to get on list.

Once 20 deposits are paid, RK will proceed with design and tooling. Once the 40 deposits are made, the hoods will start being built and ship in order deposit was received. With the exception that all Fiberglass hoods are produced and shipped first, the CF after.

I don’t think we should have a problem getting 40 people even if it takes a bit. So spread the word and if you’re interested let’s get a list.

i would be looking for a drop center if anything .
but nice too see you forging ahead on the aftermarket parts market For the Mav .
will be ordering up a downpipe soon if still available.

I'd like seeing functional hood vents like on the 60's Chevy Chevelle SS

The good thing is that the design has not been decided. WE GET TO PICK. As long as 40 people can agree on a design.

The hood style has not been chosen yet. The first thing is finding 40 people who want a hood than us deciding what we want.

Maybe they could address the wiper/hood interfearence problem with their at it.
