Yaz, I ran into a problem with their hardware, too. The main center brackets had a large square punch out, but the nylon inserts were small oval shaped... try to tighten and the insert just spins.

Are those supports part of the package or did you add them?I get what you are saying but I'm the opposite. I drive about 30,000 miles per year with 90% being highway. I want to protect the front 4 inches of the hood from "road rash" more than protect the windshield from bugs. In any case, see pictures below.

EGR fit perfectly and went on in about ten minutes.
