I was hesitant when ordering, and decided to go with the ICE, because I have a RAV4 hybrid. Finally got a build week of October 3rd and after reading the posts, pretty sure I’ll sell outright or trade in the RAV4. I’m a fairly conservative driver and figure the cost of MPG’s will only matter to my heirs. If really bad, I’ll order a MY24 or MY25 Maverick hybrid. Ford should have fixed the quality issues by then.
About my time frame as well. Safe Travels!

A 2021 Forrester Limited with 9,800 miles. Not as good gas milage (30mpg combined) and no bed, but more plush and lots of bells and whistles.
If it is white then that is exactly what my other car is and (knock on wood) it has not been in the shop for anything other than the free oil changes since I bought it new 18 months ago. You should really enjoy it.

I have not done it but the Forester has a limited towing capacity so if you really need it you could get a small utility trailer if you occasionally need to haul stuff around town.

I am still planning on ordering a 23 Hybrid Maverick but I will likely get the for Ford extended warranty because it is still a new model year and there have been so many issues with it.

Do you know what the manufacture date was for your Maverick?

I am hoping that a lot of these issues will be resolved by the time mine is built.

It is white and good to hear there have been no issues. I am not sure about the builod date and I no longer have the records. From the service events we discussed... it seems like February or March 22.

Yes they did. I drove a Ranger for over 2 weeks.
I found that sitting in the Ranger doesn't seem as spacious as sitting in the Mav. Did that track for you as well or no?

You guys are all great! I have enjoyed and learned a lot from reading all of the posts. After a couple of days to reply to anyone that posts on this thread I will unsubscribe as my saga with my Maverick has ended. My purchase deal was unwound and I purchased a completely different vehicle.
Note that I am not trashing Mavericks, I just think I got a lemon. Had it been possible to get another Maverick Hybrid, that is what I would have done! As we all know, there are none out there. It was an XL and I had really wanted a Lariet, but that is not why I returned my Maverick.
For the 2nd time in 6 months, a battery harness failed and a main fuse to the power supply was blown. While I owned the truck for 21 days, it left me stranded and 18 of the days were spent with the truck in the shop. Such is why 'Lemon Laws' have been enacted. If it is resold, a buyer must be informed of the service history.
I think the issue was manufacturing, but I don't know and am out of the loop regarding correspondence about the vehicle. Regardless I had no trust in the truck. Ford & the dealership treated me well. I am satisfied with my new deal. Remember, in buying used... "buyer beware" especially in states with weak "Lemon Laws".
As stated, I will answer questions as best I can for a couple of days then unsubscribe as I no longer own a Maverick. I'm ot a Mechanic, Engineer, or that knowledgable about the workings of a vehicle but understanding is, the vehicle will be returned to a corperate facility for diagnosis. It is a 2021 Maverick Hybrid XL.
I wish everyone nothing but enjoyment and safe travels with their Maverick!
I feel your pain. My cyber orange XLT Hybrid is looking more and more like a Lemon. I keep getting a "Shift SYS Fault" which immobilizes the truck until it decides it's OK to shift into drive and go. Yesterday I waited 6 hours for it to shift so I could move it out of my driveway into the street for towing. Had it in the shop 2 weeks ago and the problem is back. (3 Faults over the Holiday weekend) Wish I had a dealer like yours. Aaron Ford of Poway gave me a Lyft ride home. They can come get it this time around.

Did they replace the troubled wiring harness?

OP, this is just a forum, not the airport, no need to announce arrivals and departures. J/K, well sort of.

Sorry to hear about your luck, the 22 wiring issue in the Hybrid is definitely the biggest issue so far. Once you lose that confidence in a vehicle it is hard to get back. I have the Eco, and at under 2500 miles the windsheild popped out of nowhere. Ford fixed it and now i'm approaching 10k miles and it's been trouble free, but I was walking on eggshells there for a bit waiting for the 'next thing' and that's a lousy feeling with a new ride.
