Resistors for LED tail lights: How many?

I want to switch the four tail turn/brake lights to LED.

I know Lasfit has issues, so I’ve been looking at Diode Dynamics. I’ll need load resistors. I don’t want to disable circuit monitoring with Forscan.

Given that each side is a pair of lamps, are those lamps in parallel with each other or is each bulb individually monitored? Do I just need one resistor per side pair, or do I need to buy one for each of the four lamps?
