I placed an order for a 2024 Maverick xl last October. The dealership just call to tell me I have to turn in a new order because they were no longer building the 24 models. He said I would be ahead of any new orders. When I asked him if the price would change heard he didn't know. Anyone have any experience in this? Any advice?

Yeah if your order didn't built then your dealer is correct. You will have to order again for 2025. I believe that for 2025 Ford stopped offering price protection for orders that didn't get built the previous model year so chances are good it will cost more for the 2025.

XL hybrids were probably the only things that weren't built.
Within that dealership, they can prioritize you over other new 25 orders.

There aren't any programs from Ford for 24->25 model year transition. So you'll have to see what the 25 price would be and see if that works for you or not.
