I loved having my 1974 Datsun pickup back in high school. I have so many fun memories of fixing it up with my friends. Post your pics if you have any of your mini truck!

I had a late 70's or early 80's Datsun/Nissan pickup! It was an excellent little king cab 2 wheel drive!

Were the manual shifters on the floor or “…on the tree”?

I don't believe any of the mini trucks had the shift on the column. There could be a rare exception I'm not aware of however.

The HPR Maverick, the Suburban (and boat) and the Toyota are all currently still owned by me.

Found a few old photos of my '85 S10. I bought it new and proceeded to change almost everything, full custom interior swivel bucket seats, button tucked velour (it was the 80's after all ) kicking stereo, even a TV under the passenger side dash!
Lowered suspension, fiberglassed in some Z 28 style ground effects, custom paint, wheels..
