well working with that seams a lot easier than what I was thinking of doing.

Thanks for sharing
I think it's an easy swap

Hopefully post my surgery recovery, I will have time to source a spare console and build a custom unit. Id like to build it around a Sundown 8" sub. I have a ton of fleece and fiberglass/resin. This would be a fun project.

You can swap the Bronco Sport center console with rear AC vents
The console vents of course need to be hooked up to the climate control air flow supply, which is hard plastic molded ductwork under the floor covering. You would probably need to re-route the ductwork that currently goes under the seat with some custom "pipes".

Let us know how you accomplish this. I also wonder how similar the underbody structure really is. And the interface between the console and the I/P* could be slightly different.

* Instrument Panel (I/P) is the correct name. The "Dash" panel is actually the "firewall" panel.

I won't do it. Someone ask for pictures. I have the Bronco Sport Badlands and the Mav Tremor, I see no difference

I am thinking about building a custom center console. My main goal is to have vents going to the back. If you were going to redesign the center console what would you change from the one we currently have>
someone already posted his rerouting the rear duct through the center console. It was quite a project

by doing Google search "maverick truck club rear seat duct" - 4th response currently.
Looks like he used round hoses/parts from a vacuum for the new ducts running to the new round vent grilles on the back, for which he cut a big hole in the back of the console. Or is there a knockout panel there that he cut two round holes in?

Then he disconnected the molded form-fitted stock ductwork at the joint in front where it goes to under the seat, and then just taped the new white round elbow in front to the flat/rectangular X-section existing duct where the HVAC air supply originates.

He says it was easy, but I would say "intermediate' level. Good job by him!
