Red lenses on the inside of rear doors

OMG, i just asked the dealer if those light come on, he told me that he thinks they come on with the headlights, at night??? Wrong!

They probably hide a panel screw. I believe some sd or of ref lo actor on the back edge of the door is required per DOT regs now. I plan on adding high bright red LEDs to mine and wiring them up to the door switches.
