2023 Hybrid Lariat
History
Had 23E07 and 23E09 completed last week and one thing I noticed is the cig lighter power used to stay on all the time after recall it times out and turns off
This week had the 23C41 recall done mobile unit came to house
Had tech observe my battery voltage at 11.7 and having issues with battery saver mode and deep sleep too frequently, he agreed and I took it in today.
Dealer fully tested battery and it passed but he said he reprogrammed the battery monitor system.
After the reprogram the cig lighter now stays hot after turning off vehicle vs last week it timed out.
He was also going to update sync for me since I've tried multiple times using wifi and usb neither starts the sync update.
Dealer said API module needed replacing.....(note usb port and usb C seem fine when you wire connect for android auto...just wont launch USB or wifi update for sync)
Here are a few questions if anyone can provide insight.
1. I have a voltage indicator on my accessory outlet and it shows 15.3 volts while driving, using a fluke meter at the same time I see close to that at battery +- .1 or.2 volts. Seems high to me...was wondering what you guys might be seeing if you have a similar set up?
2. How many days does your truck sit before it sees battery saver and or deep sleep?
3. Does anyone know specifically if the API module being bad .....would it prevent usb for updates or wifi updates from happening?
4.Does your cig lighter port time out or stay on, one of the updates made it time out but today when I returned from dealer it stays on?
All these updates are starting to become annoying
Thanks and always appreciate the help or advice from you guys
