I just got a 2024 Maverick Lariet and have a water leak at the seal of rear power sliding window. Has anyone have or had this problem and how was it resolved? I did not take it into the dealer yet since I need to get all my facts together first.

The water flows to the lower track and then exits behind the passenger rear seat. The movie of the leak I can post if wanted. The truck was built in January of 2024.

Haven't had any issues with my MY22 Lariat. Somethings bound to be not sealed correctly, IMO would recommend getting dealer to correct it before mold/smell gets started.

22 Lariat and 24 Lariat - no leaks. Love the remote power feature.

My Vin: 3FTTW8M32RRA38888 . I plan to go to Bill Colwell in Hudson Iowa on the 25th. Thanks
Just took in the Maverick and dealer will replace the rear window assembly. Thanks for your help. I just seems bad that a cheap distored seal can be this costly at the end. Someone from Ford should visit the maker of the rear window assembly and correct problem. This problem appears to be quite common. Have a nice!

I noticed yesterday after a storm shower that I have the same drip in the same spot shown as yours. I’d imagine it’s been that way for the last 2 years and I never noticed- how did the repair for your shake out!?

I used to drive through Hudson Iowa on my way to my employers disaster recovery data center.
Nothing else. . . . just reminded me of the solitary trips driving the back roads in Iowa.

Trust me, if the part itself was defective it's already been charged back to the maker, plus labor or the opposing engineers are still fighting over it.

Dealer ordered entire rear window and will replace it on 17May2024. Will let you know if it cures the leak issue. Will also attach a picture of the seal in the new window.

Just bumping to seek an update- the channel for my window was completely full of water yesterday after a large storm- I’m not against getting fixed but want your feedback if possible on the new window is in fact a good repair; I truly think more folks have this issue than are aware; I wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t shined a flashlight at the rear slider right after a rain; there was water leaking on both corners of the bottom seal.
