Any rumors of somebody making one? With 3d printing technology today, shouldn't be too dificult.

I think it would look really good, but it wouldn't be flush with the tailgate like the trucks we had back in the 80's and 90's. The rear cross member is under the rear step of the bumper. It's about 2" past the tailgate....
