Haven’t noticed this before. Anyone else have this issue? It has rained plenty since I have had it, but yesterday we had rain all day from the hurricane. Not a high water situation.

Yeah one ford vehicle (cant recall which) had a recall because the water would corrode electrical components and cause shorts.

I though they fixed that though.

What was the wind speeds? With heavy enough of both those thing can happen even to new vehicles. You can test at a DIY carwash or with a good pressure washer.

We had gusting winds but it wasn’t that bad really. Just a steady rain. I was right in the middle of something so I didn’t lift the seat. Hope all the tools aren’t soaked. I’ll check all that in a couple hours when I get home.

You sure it didn't drip in when you opened the door?
That would have been a lot for that. It was a half inch of water in that little spot between the seat and door

How are the door gaskets?
No problems with the gasket. No water in the under seat storage. Haven’t pulled the carpet up yet but it doesn’t seem wet there either.

Wow that's weird. Check the light above the rear window like the other guy said. Make sure the screws are tight and the gasket is sealed. That's all I got.

It was parked on a slight incline with the back of the truck lower. I don’t know. Never had this issue in 3 months.

The only other thing I can think of to do is to sit inside while somebody sprays a hose along the doors and windows, etc. I go to a brushless carwash which is basically a big power washer and haven't seen leakage like that.

This is something that needs to be tracked down since winter is coming and you don't want the white walkers getting in.

Hello! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this leak concern. Thanks!
