I received my Ford maverick lariat one month ago, after a week the doorhandle which is supposed to unlock when the key is close to it stop working. I took it back to the Ford dealer who told me they would have to replace the door handle but couldn’t tell me when the park with a ride.

Dang that’s a bummer but glad it’s a minor part that can be replaced easy once it arrives. The intelligent access is pretty slick, when it works.

There had been comments about a wire disconnect happening in doors earlier on.

Also, its not just proximity, you do have to place your fingered inside the handle. I bet you already knew that thou, right?

I had the same happen. I solved it by accessing the Intelligent Access mode from the instrument display and disabling it and re-enabling it. Haven't had a recurring problem. Apologies if perhaps you tried that.

Thank you for this. I've had my Maverick since May, just shy of 6k miles and drivers door access stopped working about a week ago. Was just about to call the dealership and decided to check online first. Tried this and it worked. Thank you again!!
