RealTruck Elevate TS rails installed

I installed the Real Truck Elevate TS Rails on my 2024 XLT with a Gator SRX soft roll up cover. Install was just like installing the tonneau cover twice. Now to figure out where to get reasonable priced t slot cross rails or how to build my own so if I need to put a rack across my bed on trips I can.

I'd probably copy what BillieBars offers, and use 4080 extrusions and corner brackets and make my own cross bars.

Just keep in mind the load rating of the cleats if you do this. It’s nowhere near as high as a traditional bed rack system.

I just found some Thule cross bars on Facebook marketplace place I am trying to get as they are free and my friend is going to help me make a bracket for the cross bars to attach to the t rail slot

I used Yakima feet that are basically quick-release. Very convenient. I could use my existing decades-old roof rack. So pretty cheap from that context.

Adapters that connect the towers to the cross bars. There are different adapters for different style bars. In addition, I had to modify these adapters to fit my Thule cross bars. Just filed down some small bit of plastic.

looks like these aren’t on Amazon now, but there’s plenty of other sellers.

Thule makes similar t slot pad/towers but the Yakima on/off is much easier, best I could tell.

Also, you can get optional locks too.
