Anyone seen any ramps that fit in the bed of the truck with the tailgate closed? All the ones I’ve seen are too long. Need something to load the bike or atv in the back

Have you tried those out yet? How steep were they? I might need to load a mobility scooter in mine whenever it arrives. I'm looking for real-world examples of what people have used.
Haven’t gotten them yet

you'd be better off with a hitch mounted carrier platform with that.

What solution did you choose for your situation?

anything that fits in a 4.5 foot bed will be WAY too steep for anything...it would have to be a "folding" in half type ramp. My .02
Probably, but remember the Mav is lower than normal pickups. According to some quick research on my part (I don't have a Mav yet, see .sig) the height of the tailgate down is 30". If I remember my SOH CAH TOA properly, the ramp angle on the Mav would be equal to arcsin(30"/ramp length).

Ok, so yeah... 4.5' ramps would be about 34 degrees. That is a bit steep. But the 72" Harbor Fraught folding ramps would be a more reasonable 25 degrees. Granted, this assumes that the ramps are straight...

I believe all the HF ramps are "arched" so your load doesn't bottom out (or at least "bottom out less") on the tailgate when the front wheels roll forward to the flat truck bed. Shouldn't be an issue for bikes or motorcycles, but might be for a wheelchair, and highly probable with a center-mounted mower on a lawn tractor.
