Sadly that is very common in most trucks. For my F150 I had to do a third party light and I sealed it very well before installing it to insure no water could get in. But yeah I would make sure the dealer fixes it.
What you are describing sounds normal. The RPMs will climb as you accelerate and as the transmission shifts it will drop the RPMs.
Can you provide a little more insight?
Power is not the issue. Traction and weight are the issue.
When you start pulling a boat up a steep slippery incline, especially one that is heavier then the actual vehicle you will always open up the possibility for something bad to happen. That is how people end up in the water.
Now with that...
I have ramps that fold to 43" which would fit in the bed, but with a dirt bike you'll need the tailgate down anyway.

I Agree, I mean especially people that want to tow campers. I feel like they are in for a rude awakening when they get on the highway and the lightness of the truck reveals itself. Plus combine that with the inexperience many seem to have.
I have a 2" RC level on my f150, and I have no complaints. However, when I get my maverick I would rather not go the hockey puck route. Just wait a few months and there will be more options out there for us. Ideally something adjustable;)
