Since most of the Mavericks get shipped by rail, delivery may get much worse if there is a strike. Here is an article that explains why things are so slow now and alerts us to a possible strike:

I used to be a locomotive engineer and quit due to work conditions consistently getting worse. Management just wanted to eek out every bit of profit possible, making the job/lifestyle unbearable. Being a conductor or engineer is drastically different now than it was 20 years ago. I know a lot of guys who have left. Some stay, but aren’t happy.
The pay is still decent, so they can find replacements, but constantly having new hires results in increased risks and injuries.
