rail car tracking useless

Dealer gave me the rail car number, I have called the automated number twice in three days.

Most recent information on the location is "empty, Kansas City" 4/27/2022.

Why should I even expect any sort of real relevant information?

the CSX line gave me old railcar info like you’re saying, but I was able to track it with NS after 3 days of also being discouraged.

Does anybody know how to track the “last mile” truck transport once the rail car reaches its final intermodal distribution hub?

I’ve been following my XLT up from Hermisillo since it was built 7/1. It’s been making great progress so far, sitting in Kansas City at the moment. I believe the rail car is ultimately destined to be off loaded at the Norfolk Southern yard in Shelbyville KY, where it will be trucked to my dealer in Cincinnati, OH.

I assume, if I continue to track the rail car after the car reaches Shelbyville, the system will track the empty car to its next “pickup” location. I don’t care about the rail car at that point, but how does one continue tracking the car carrier transport to the dealer?
