Radio on Battery Power Drain ?

I am a hybrid newbie but it seems like battery drain is a big issue with Maverick Hybrids.
My question is does it help to turn off radio when you park car for the evening so it does not
drain battery ? Or is that even a thing.

It powers down when you open the door to get out, no need to worry about that.
