Radiator fan replacement

I have a 2022 Maverick 2.0, awd, off road package
Radiator fan motor went out, replaced. Keeps blowing 60amp fuses.
overheats & no a/c. This is no good in Las Vegas.

When the fuse keeps blowing, does the fan start working again with a new fuse or does it totally fry the fan motor too?

Fan motor is ok, just keeps blowing fuse
right now it’s so hot in Vegas, it happens all the time

Does the fan have excess resistance preventing it from spinning? Dust/twine/etc around the motor? I'd be inclined to look at the windings inside if there is a short.

I'd also inspect the wiring going to it just to make sure there's no chafing or shorting of other wires that may run alongside it.

It blowing the fuse is not normal, even in the hot weather. There has to be something interfering with the circuitry, or with the fan/motor itself like @CNJFF mentioned.

Fan connector contacts or wiring damaged near the fan connector?
Next I'd wonder if fan relay contacts passing 12V OK.

Try to connecting directly to the battery to see if it works
