Quick way to stop Carplay on Sync4

Has anyone found a quick way to disable Carplay on a '26 with Sync4? Instructions say to do it while the car is stopped on the phone screen but really looking for a way to toggle it on/off quickly. I've searched with no success.

Depends on what you’re trying to achieve.

Do you want to use CarPlay sometimes and not others?

If you hit the Ford home icon top left it takes you to the underlying Ford screen.

You can then click on the Audio tab which allows you to change sources on the top left. Here you can choose AM, FM, Sirius or Bluetooth.

Or

You select Settings, Connectivity, Wireless App Projection and turn it off.

Or

Turn off wifi on your phone.

Several ways to skin a cat but it comes down with what you’re trying to achieve and maintain.

I put my phone in Airplane mode the few times I don't want it connecting. Since I only do it for configuration/diagnostics that ain't no big thang.

How is CarPlay being enabled in the first place?

Wireless.....

Actually my wife's question I misunderstood.
I think it has something to do with Maps but I need to confirm with her....
I use Android Auto so not sure of her issue yet
