You know the ones, $200 or less, now running about $160-180 with the weird names. Have the strap hanging in the middle of the bed to release the latches on each side. I ordered the feetuo one.

Got it today, took 5 minutes to grab a knife, open the extremely well taped box, glance at instructions and put a screw/nut plate back in the corner rail bracket that fell out, the ones you use to attach the side rails to the header rail are shipped loose for assembly.

Set the header by the rear glass, set the side rails on and slide them into the slots on the header. There was a couple provided allen keys, use the small one to put a little pressure on the corner bracket screws. These are not pulling things together like "normal" bolts, they are captured and putting pressure on the framework, don't overtighten. I kept playing with the rolled up top and pushing the framework toward the glass.

Put the fronts clamps where you want them, the rear ones will need "adjusted" as you move the rails in and out by the tailgate to get the latches to close properly. Too spread, they miss, too close and they won't allow the latches to slide in so the tonneau "hits" and won't latch down. The side clamps have a notch that catches a lip on the tonneau side framework. I only used 4 of 6. I don't think such a short cover needs that many.

18 minutes to set it on, get adjusted and locked down.

Pros: easy to set up, easy to remove if I need to. Fits well, looks good. Came with a "tailgate seal" for around the tailgate and a sticky light. (won't use either in truck) Came with 2 extra header rail screws and threaded plates. Came with 2 extra side clamps (I used 4 of 6) The side clamps are fairly small profile. Pre-set tension was spot on. Has sealing foam along the side rails and a rubber lip for the tailgate.

Cons: The hardware is typical import quality. It felt like one of the bolts/clamps was stripping out during the initial installation. Don't install all 6 and you'll have spares. The 1" velcro is consumer grade. Some more open/bigger hook heavy duty stuff would be nice. The little corner bracket "push" bolts. The latches are plastic.

FWIW, I wanted to try a tonneau for "out of sight, out of mind" and to keep things from blowing around but I still need full bed use. A little water getting past won't be a concern of mine. If I like it and it fails I may get a better one depending on how long this lasts.

I have one of these and like it a lot for what it is. Looks nice enough and keeps crap from blowing out and out of sight. Not 100% waterproof, but good enough for me. Could be better if I had used the weatherstripping they provided maybe. Came with a cheesy battery powered light that I also didn't use because my XLT lux has a bed light. Did not want a trifold blocking 1/3 of the bed when folded up. 1000x better than the last toneau cover I had about 20 years ago that used snaps and was a royal PITA to secure in cold weather.

Only gripe if you can call it that is I can't latch it down without opening the tailgate. Overall rating 9/10.

For the money can't beat it. I have had mine on for 8 months no problems, no leaks and easy to role up make room to put things in the bed. Probable the single best purchase I made for my Maverick and I made a lot.

I purchased this MaxMate soft roll up from amazon, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TSCYY6D?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

My friends wife had one on her GMC and like it.

I like it has slightly domed cross bars to keep water from pooling on the tarp. It came with a long piece of weather stripping for behind the cab and 2 small pieces to fill the gaps in the plastic bed rail. It also has a 10 year warranty!

Installation was easy and it works as intended. I haven't had it in any real weather yet.

did you have to drill into the bed rim plastic?

I have one as well. Soft tri-fold though. For $180 can't beat it but i wish it was slightly longer <1 ". It seems that you either get a real good seal on the cab side, or the tailgate side.

if you look around, the name brands are almost identical and likely come out of the same plant...

That's the one I have as well. The fit and finish is great, fairly good seal with slight water intrusion that I can live with. Very happy with my purchase.

Hi thanks for posting this

Please can you share the amazon link?

Please comment on this one on ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/275437648962
I have that cover. I noticed the same cover uses different brand names. The instructions left a lot to be desired so I watched an installation on YouTube. I paid around $150 and am very happy with it.

I just searched "ford maverick tonneau" and looked through for soft roll ups.

https://www.amazon.com/FeeTUO-Tri-F...-11-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&th=1

don't know if that works or not, watch that it is for the rolling and not folding.

The one you show on ebay looks the same in some pictures, and other pictures it shows a different product. There is a pic of plastic latches, and one with metal pins. The free light is the same.

I pushed mine forward during installation. The seal is on the tailgate still, but I guess I see how some think it isn't good enough. Personally, I like less contact on the tailgate. The seal still hits, but won't be taking as much abuse opening/closing gate. And I don't care about it being water tight.
