Quick Acceleration on ACC is jarring

Really like the ACC but when it needs to accelerate I find it a bit jarring. My buddies ridgeline has a smoother acceleration. On the Mav it’s almost like you mashed the pedal

guessing you get used to this. A bit nerve racking first time out though.

It does like to floor it when you hit resume. Bring it up to speed before doing that

usually when it stops, its because there is a car in front that stopped. I've never noticed it flooring it, since the car in front of me is usually accelerating at a normal pace and the mav keeps the distance. weird.

Mines been insanely smooth and way better than the eyesight system my 17' outback had.

talking mostly about when the car ahead of you changes lanes then it accelerates to get to correct distance to next car. It’s a quick acceleration

Eco or, to a slightly lesser degree, Slippery drive modes calm down the cruise control's eagerness to return to its set speed.

Eco I don’t believe I have as it’s an FX4. Won’t slippery put excessive wear on the tires in dry roads?
