Does the Maverick reset the MPG calculation EACH time you shut off the truck? I'm assuming it does but thought I'd ask anyway. I had a long-term rental in Germany a few years ago, a Seat (Spanish), and the car wouldn't reset the trip monitor (time, distance, and KmPG) if you only stopped briefly, like for gas. I absolutely loved that feature, small as it was, because when I went on long road trips on the weekend, I would get a reading for the entire trip, not broken into smaller segments if I happened to stop at a rest area for anything.
My current Ford Fusion Hybrid doesn't do it -- probably something Ford should take notes on, assuming the Maverick is the same way as my Fusion. While they're at it, put a memory function on there. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped after a long trip, forgot to look at the MPG display (hybrid can vary widely based on terrain and driving habits), and then wondered what it was. If I could even just look at the last entry, it would be very welcome.
