Greetings to all. New owner of a 2024 Maverick XLT, carbonized grey here. We live in the UP of Michigan, but spend winters in Arizona. A couple of years ago and while owning a 6.7 diesel that had gotten out of warranty, I promised myself I would never drive another Ford. After driving them all my life. Well never say never. I was looking for something to tow flat down behind our Class C motorhome. The Maverick ticked all the boxes, including the one marked; does it have throw you through the windshield brakes, check. Slippery mode cured the brakes, thanks to this forum. Only had it 3 days and really like it. Plan to put a cap on it and get it set up to tow. Those will amount to 25% of the truck cost, yikes. I thought I would set it up myself, but not after watching an installation video from etrailer. I have always had lariat trucks, but this late in the year it was slim pickins and I was truckless.
Anyway glad I am here, seems like a great group, for a great little truck. It sure is easy to park compared to a 350.

Congrats, there's also a Edit button for your post, it'll allow you to go back and add photos if needed. Just a tip.

Congratulations it's a nice truck hope happy with it.
You were lucky to take delivery with the with the backup camera recall hold on sales and delivery on 2024's.
My wife and her brother and sister still have 80 acres of forested land in the U.P.
We love Michigan and Wisconsin. We just don't care to live there.

Hey Carl!

Welcome to the club and congratulations on getting your Maverick! Now that you have it, perhaps one of the first mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

See details at Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) ($6 delivered)

Congrats again on getting your Mav and thanks for considering.

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your new Maverick. Hope it works well for your intended use. It looks sharp, except it may get a little warm in AZ.
