Production week changed

Had a production week of May 16 and was hoping it wouldn't change but in Fords wisdom it's now May 23. I ordered it on June 10th and now I have to play the old switcheroo. Yes, like most June Hybrid orders I have seen exact builds with later order dates delivered and of course now I'm POed. Sorry but I had to vent.
WELL HERE WE GO AGAIN. 5/13. Yes it is Friday the 13th and new mail from FORD. Your scheduled DAY May 28th has been changed to the week of May 30. That has been a four week move, one week at a time. Come on MOM can I please have that piece of candy Stop jerking it away with that rubber band! So it looks like at least a year waiting for a production date now. Hope to get this truck by Christmas.

Originally was given build week of 5/9, then moved ahead to 5/2, then back to 5/9, again moved to 5/16 and now moved to 5/23. I think this is worse than not having a build week at all.

I ordered July 9th. First build week May 9th, then May 16th, now May 23rd. I dropped spray in bed liner and co-pilot 360 hoping to speed up build date (don't think it worked).

Well, I'm joining the club not that want to be a member 5/9, 5/16, and now 5/23 build date. I did get a VIN which made feel better for first email 5/9 build date. These new build dates are worse than previous 5 months. Its like you see the end in site for a build and then they pull the Charlie Brown football trick!. Lariat Lux, Aulto Blue, tow package, 4X package, Moonroof, 360 package, spare tire, spray in bedliner, and the only thing i wish I would have add was better Security system. I allow myself to buy 1 new accessory each month so I'm down to wireless dogol, bug shield for hood and putting tint on windows. I'm wait patiently in Tacoma

How do you know your build date was moved? I have/had a build date for 5/9 but only knew that from talking with a ford rep in chat. Never received any contact from my dealer or Ford. Did you receive an update by email?

You'se guys are making me nervous. Gotta admit I ordered after you did, procrastination ran amok. Just rec'd notice that my rig is scheduled for May 30. You're making it look like I can anticipate after Independence Day.
Hope I'm wrong, I hope you get yours faster than anticipated, and most of all, that we're very happy with our purchases.

How do you know your build date was moved? I have/had a build date for 5/9 but only knew that from talking with a ford rep in chat. Never received any contact from my dealer or Ford. Did you receive an update by email?

If Ford has your correct Email address they'll send you a notice when you scheduled for production. That will also include a link that you can use to check up on the assembly status.
That's all I know for now since I just received my production date on 5/13 with the VIN number of the vehicle. (Spooky, it came three days after I had a dream that I received my production date.)
I'm not superstitious and put it down to coincidence and the fact that it's been on my mind. Not to mention that a dealer was listed as having a rig almost identical to my order. I'd say he's a good dealer and disclosed that it was a custom order waiting for pick-up and not for sale at his lot. I've been considering a dealer purchase of a truck that was a cancelled order but have bit the bullet as I'm set on having the moon roof.
BTW, if you got the First Email from Ford, do an inclusive search of your emails using the word FORD. It could be in a junk folder or accidentallly trashed. (With the new Windows 11 I've had some undesirable events happening.) Good Hunting

Like I said. I’ve never received any info from Ford or my dealer. They have my email and phone but never send me anything. I have to inquire. Luckily I contacted Ford chat and got my VIN. I’ve been checking the tracking and did go into production on 5/11! My dealer has never contacted me. Once I see it is shipped I guess I’ll contact them.
