Ditto on the Bullet Point.

I saw that one on amazon but didn't want to pay for an arm and phone holder when I already have those. But I can get it from the Bullet Point website with just the base and a ball for $50 with shipping. I just ordered one.Bullet Point Mounting Solutions. It isn’t cheap but it is solid and provides a variety of mounting options. That’s what I went with after returning my ProClip.
Be careful with those screws! They aren’t really designed to be taken in and out a bunch, another design issue with the ProClip. You could put a small piece of double sided adhesive behind the trim to provided additional security and decrease vibrations?I just removed my proclip and now that little trim piece is loose. Anyone got any tips to get it to be tight again? I hope I didn’t create a new rattle lol
I will say they gladly paid me a full reimbursement without issue. Unfortunately there mount just had to many short cuts involved. I’m happy with my BulletPoint mount. Now if only Ford and BakFlip will fix my factory tonneau cover that came unglued! That dash piece is still loose after removing the ProClip, but there doesn't seem to be any noise or issues from it. I'm DEFINITELY not messing with that piece or screws again, though.
I'm still waiting on my refund from Proclip as well and I let them know the mount jacked up that piece... not that they'll care or do anything about it.
That just looks dangerous for the passenger. All the screws except the one on the far right side don't actually attach that trim piece the the dash structure. It is held in by clips. The far right screw attaches to the dash structure but has a plastic clip which easily pulls out of the dash.
I discovered this after I bought a phone mount on eBay that mounts using those screws in the trim piece. After installation, I gave it the wiggle test and the whole thing fell off the dash

You may be tempted to buy one of these mounts. But do not do it!
