Since I decided not to take the 2025 AWD hybrid(different thread) I found a 2024 XLT fx4 for 29500, down from 32,000.
Seems like a reasonal deal.

@Scout there is a stop sale on 2024 XL's and XLT's due to the back up camera recall.
There may be even better deals to be had once Ford actually figures our how to fix the camera issues.

I would negotiate even harder once you can actually buy it and take it from the lot. It’s last year’s model and the 2025s are refreshed and have significant upgrades.

I'd check KBB or some other source to see what the used value is on a '24 with say 1000 miles and use that as a negotiation. A 24 model will have a much sharper drop in price when you drive off the lot because it is a year old already. The days of driving a Maverick off the lot and having a vehicle worth more than MSRP are gone.
