Hello All,
I've been eagerly awaiting the day I get to go pick up my Maverick, and it's coming close. The website now estimates early February is when it will be at my dealership. (I of course assume that means some time in late March
)
My question is to the other people who have been through the purchasing routine already, what do I need to do/prep to get ready for the purchase?
First, from reading other posts I feel I should get a quote on the extended warranty (somewhere someone posted a dealership that would do the 5 year for $1k I think). With a quote in hand from another dealership they would probably honor it right?
Second, I was planning on using my accessory points towards a tonneau cover. Total expenditure for the ones i'm looking at would be around $800 anyway, so might as well get the hard tri-fold, use the points, and still be out about the same amount of money. Will they let me do that as part of the purchase and wrap it into my loan?
Third, are there any nation-wide incentives on financing related to the Maverick that I can utilize? I'd like to get a super low rate and let that same money do work for me in the market rather than just go into vehicle depreciation.
Is there anything else I'm missing? I don't want to get home with the truck and realize there was something I forgot to do, or an angle I forgot to play to maximize my purchase.
