I paid, $1950 for xpel ultimate - Partial hood and fenders, mirrors, front bumper, headlights, and tailgate.
Hmmm, hadn’t thought about the tailgate 🤔 Too many decisions 😱

I think PPF is one of those things where the price really depends on what you can negotiate. With a high-end shop in an urban area, that wiggle room is probably minimal. But in a more rural area where I live, with detailing gurus who often do ceramic coatings, window tints, PPF installs on the side, I'm thinking I might have more luck negotiating. I mean, the fixed price is the installer's cost of of the film. Beyond that it's what they are willing to charge for their time. And yes, I get that you want someone who has experience and a proven track record. I'm not talking about using some fly-by-night outfit experimenting on your vehicle.

That said, if you just tell someone flat-out, look, I'm not paying $2,000 for this. I'm flexible, and if you want to call me on short notice on a slow week and say hey, I can fit you in tomorrow at a discount, we can work together. If not, that's OK too.

At least that my plan to try that and see how it goes. First, Ford has to build me a truck...

In Orlando was quoted this yesterday,
full frontal for 2200. A partial front for 1600.
Material was Suntek Reaction or Xpel 10 year warranty and 12 year warranty.
Highest quote so far.
Another local company was 1/2 that for X-pel.

I paid 2200 for full front end, and window/windshield tint (which iirc was about 375 of that cost)

Sounds like a good idea, thank you! I think I’m definitely going to only be able to do a partial PPF since I have that FE decal on the hood.
