It hit me today that back in 06 I bought a 150 that had been on the lot a minute and all the tires had flat spotted severely. I am betting that with this trucks sitting in the HOT sun for 2+ months that our tires will almost surely be flat spotted. Make sure you take them on a good test drive before buying and if it vibrates at ALL make them put on new rubber under warranty.

At least the desert is "less hot" right now.

Looks like a high of 95 and a low of 54 in Hermosillo Mexico this week.
I assume like here in Phoenix, it's a "dry" heat.

What is this dry heat you speak of? Heat is only accompanied by 90+% humidity....

We get little to no humidity where I'm at. Anything under 80 is chilly. Only feels hot when you hit 105+. 110 and up is when we start to get a little uncomfortable. (and I'm a Canadian living down here!)

Flat-spotting could happen, but I'm not going to worry about it.

We regularly park a car for a few months in the summer here in Tucson without any problems. It's much hotter than it is in Hermosillo now. If the tires are correctly inflated and are not high-performance tires there probably won't be an issue.

By all means check them out on delivery. But relax and forget about it until then...

Dry heat is when you put your head in your oven or after a heavy night of drinking. (Oh wait, that's dry heave).
Advil, pedialyte, bong rip. In that order.
