UPDATE:

so I had the recalls done today and the hyperflash issue reared its ugly head, only inside the cab though. The bulbs were flashing normally but inside indicator was hyper flashing. Changed the rear bulbs back to stock incandescent bulbs and issue went away, so I still have the LED front turn signals. It’s a shame they can’t figure out the hyperflash issue for the Lariat models.

What about the 23P18 fix? Any issues with engine being louder or less fuel economy?

I had that recall done also on a recent service visit to Ford dealer. No issues like louder engine or reduced mileage... the hyperflash issue returned but I shut off the rear taillight out warning in Forscan and it doesn't happen anymore. oh I put the rear LEDs back in that's why hyper flash happened again.
