Faster than expected. I placed a new 2024 order on July 18th. Received notice it would be built in late December. Then received an update it would be built the 1st week of November. I actually took delivery yesterday.

I almost went with Oxford White or Shadow Black on my order I'm waiting on. Decided on Azure Gray Metallic since I couldn't get Area 51 (I actually like the look of Azure better so that's a plus). The only reason I didn't go with the other 2 is my first Ford Ranger was Oxford White and my current one is Shadow Black. So I wanted something different. Have to say that looks sharp!

What are your thoughts on comparison to the Sport Trac? I owned one of those for a number of years. Picture next to the Sport Trac would be cool to see.

Give me a few days to get the feel but so far it's all positive. My son has the Sport Trac right now but may be able to shoot them side by side tomorrow.

Yes it was an ecoboost. I'm not a fan of hybrids or EV's. I'll happily pay for the gas.

"Happily pay for the gas" - You might feel differently if you lived in the land of $5.00+ per gallon for 87 octane. I have a 22 EB and a 24 hybird [both Oxford white]. 80 miles total on the 24 hybrid and I am seeing 40 mpg. I can get used to that real quick.

RE: Color choice - I once read an article published by Mercedes regarding color perceptiblity and safety in low light and fog. The most perceptible color was yellow followed by white, then red. The least perceptible colors are easy to guess - silver, gray, graphite gray, metallic light blue, beige and so on. Next time you are on the freeway in haze and fog, look around and do your own evaluation as to which colors stand out the most against the gray of the pavement and sky.

My 23 hybrid I have not gotten anything less than 40 mpg. I traded in a 18 Explorer that averaged 17-19 in town and I drive mostly in town. I love this Maverick for lots of reasons but fuel mileage is #1.

Ordered 7/17 Received 10/19. XLT, 2.0 eco boost, AWD, 4K Tow package, moonroof, heated seats, 360 drivers assist. and wife and I are very pleased with it. We waited over a year for the hybrid.
