Ford Maverick Plasti Dip Ford Emblems 20211226_165811

Decided to plasti dip the blue out of the Ford emblems since my Maverick is carbonized grey. The back was a lot easier. The front one, have to be very careful.

What I would have really liked to do was, the grey to match the truck where the blue was, and then black, where the chrome is. But, too much work and would probably mess it up

No, did the whole thing and then took a toothpick to unpeel the letters. Back one, no problem. Front one, had to use an exacto knife in a few spots.

Thanks for that, I have been looking at doing the same, also the AWD letters. I have been looking at grays just a few shades off from the carbon as well.

I’m definitely intrigued and interested by this. I’m still debating whether or not to do exactly what you did, along with the AWD badge. What product did you use?

It looks great, by the way.
